About us
Clean panels, more power.
Solar Clean Services cleans solar panels across South Wales and the South West: domestic roofs, commercial arrays, farm buildings, solar farms and forecourts. We use fully certified, environmentally friendly cleaning products, safe on the glass, safe on the coatings, and safe for whatever the water runs off onto.
We are a family run business, owned and worked by Martyn and his son Christian. Martyn spent his career on construction sites, where working at height gets planned, inspected and signed off before anyone climbs anything, and that’s the standard the pair of them bring to a domestic roof. Eleven safety and access qualifications sit behind every job, plus full public liability insurance.
Qualified, certified, insured
- Black CSCS Card — Construction Skills Certification Scheme, Manager grade. The highest grade of site competence card there is.
- SMSTS — Site Management Safety Training Scheme. This is why your job gets planned on paper before anyone touches a ladder.
- NVQ Level 6 — degree-equivalent competence in occupational health and safety practice.
- Working at Height — Work at Height Regulations training. Access is chosen for the roof in front of us, not for whatever's on the van.
- Harness & Lanyard — fall arrest systems. A badly fitted harness will not stop a fall.
- IPAF — International Powered Access Federation. Licensed to operate cherry pickers and powered platforms.
- PASMA — Prefabricated Access Suppliers' & Manufacturers' Association. Mobile access towers get built, inspected and taken down to standard.
- Ladder Inspector — every ladder that leans on your building has been formally checked.
- First Aid — emergency first aid at work. The person on site knows what to do in the minutes that matter.
- Asbestos Awareness — Category A asbestos training. Trained to recognise it and to stop rather than disturb it.
- SPA — Safe Practice at Petrol Forecourts. Certified to work on live fuel forecourts.
- Public Liability Insurance — full cover on every job. Ask to see the certificate before we start, any time.

Why solar panels need cleaning
