Dirty panels lose up to 25% of their output, and rain won't fix it. Professional cleaning for homes, businesses, farms and solar farms — fully certified, fully insured, and qualified to work at height.
About us
Solar Clean Services cleans solar panels across South Wales and the South West: domestic roofs, commercial arrays, farm buildings, solar farms and forecourts. We use fully certified, environmentally friendly cleaning products, safe on the glass, safe on the coatings, and safe for whatever the water runs off onto.
We are a family run business, owned and worked by Martyn and his son Christian. Martyn spent his career on construction sites, where working at height gets planned, inspected and signed off before anyone climbs anything, and that’s the standard the pair of them bring to a domestic roof. Eleven safety and access qualifications sit behind every job, plus full public liability insurance.

Your panels are the one part of the building that pays you back every day. Three things quietly stop them doing it.
Rain leaves behind the dust, pollen, bird mess and lichen it carries, then dries into a film. If rain cleaned glass, nobody would ever wash a car.
A typical dirty array gives up around 5% of its output. A bad one, near trees, farmland or a main road, loses up to 25%, every day it stays dirty.
Panels generate live DC electricity the moment light hits them, and there is no off switch on a roof. Add a ladder and wet glass and a Saturday job becomes an ambulance.
